Simply Paperlicious

I apologize for my lack of posts lately.  I've been so busy creating an Etsy shop that I've let the blog go.  Since I am obsessed with Etsy and I love hosting a party I decided why not put together something.  Especially since I am not becoming a party planner anytime soon.  I decided to create banners, streamers, confetti, etc.  Please take the time to check it out.  If you have any good ideas let me know and/or if you want a custom banner made I would love to put something together for you.  Most of the shop is full of baby shower banners right now, but I am expanding.  Next on my list is birthday banners.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Mustache Bash Part 1: Party Decor

This weekend Bram celebrated his 1st birthday.  Like I said in an earlier post I love planning a party.  When scouring the internet I knew I had to use the theme Mustache Bash.  It was such a cute theme.

I found an amazing Invite site on Etsy called Simply Printable.  She has some really great birthday, baby shower, holiday designs, etc.  I love the way they turned out. You pick a design, tell her your color theme, and she designs it in 24 to 48 hours. Please check her site out...especially if you are looking for a Holiday card.

I started planning Bram's birthday almost 2 months ago.  I decided to purchase a Cricut instead of purchasing someone else's work or asking someone else to make it....I had to do that for a baby shower and I hated not being able to do it myself.  I seriously love doing this kind of thing. Plus I am kind of a control freak!!  Here's what I created:

The party ended up being a big success.  We have such amazing friends and I can't express how happy and thankful we have them in our life every single day.  Pictures from the party will follow in another post soon.

Pumpkin Patch Trip with Great Company

A few weeks ago our little family was lucky enough to go on a mini vacation with Chris' family.  With Bram changing almost daily I was pretty excited for his grandparents and aunt and uncle to see him in action. We are very blessed to have such great people in our lives; Bram is seriously one of the luckiest little boys.  He is surely loved!

This weekend was super relaxing with lots of good food, great company, a Vikings game, and we got to celebrate little Bram's birthday. I took a million pictures.  Here are some from our trip to the pumpkin patch.

Bram had so much fun!  I love watching him explore all these new things.  He had such a blast.

Happy Halloween!

This post is a few days late but these pictures are too cute not to share.  Bram got to celebrate Halloween last Saturday and Wednesday!  On Saturday we were invited to a costume party.  Chris always dresses ridiculous so I figured we would try to have the two matching.  When I saw the mullet wig I knew I had to have it.  Isn't he rocking it??!!?!

For Halloween I chose a skunk costume.  It was so stinkin' cute!  Because of the storm we never picked up any candy so I made Chris pick some up on his way home from work.  We ended up getting only ONE trick or treater!!  What a waste of candy...just what Chris and I need laying around the house.

Bram loved his outfits. We celebrated his birthday yesterday so pictures will soon follow.
