Simply Bannerlicious Update
Along with home projects I've been busy working on my Etsy site. I try to add a new banner once a week. This is usually a nap time or evening project. I make quite the mess so usually it's an evening project. I am still working to expand and improve my banners. Take a look at some of the new ones I have created. I am still looking for new ideas so if anyone has ideas or pointers please let me know.
Please check out my Etsy site here.

Our busy weeks...
Like I have said over and over because I am home all day with kids I
tend to get very antsy to do house projects. I really do drive Chris
nuts. I had finally gotten my wish... April and the beginning of May was crazy insane...lots and lots of house projects. It was a dream come
true...haha. It actually has left me tired. I feel content at the
moment. I still have my list but feel it can wait until I catch my breath. I think this makes the hubby incredibly happy :).
Here's my list for the remainder of May and June:
1) Create an entryway nook for daycare.
2) Fix basement door so I can start using it for daycare.
3) Put garbage in cabinet....I hate it out for everyone to see and smell...ick!
4) Finish our landscaping. We still need to add mulch to the flower beds and add flowers to pots.
5) Finish my rug project for Bram's room. I keep putting it off. :( Can't wait to show you when it's finish...if I ever finish it.
6) Re-organize our closet room.
Wishlist:
1) Add a storm door to front door
2) Paint front door. Everyday out walking I see front painted doors...it's actually rare to see one not painted.
This weekend I will probably do a ton of yard work, including lay the mulch and plant flowers (Bram and daddy are sick). Hopefully it only takes up one day so I can do a lot of relaxing with Chris since he's been working incredibly hard lately.
Even Bram's exhausted from working hard :) |

Project Preview
When Chris' parents came to visit it was far from relaxing...we actually put them to work...lots of work. It really was a wonderful visit, probably my favorite visit so far since we added in lots of project time (poor Rob). Since I am home every day I crave working on projects and since Chris is extremely busy at his job he comes home pretty exhausted. I
am extremely thankful my in-laws gave this very special (and precious)
time to me. I needed it to re-charge. Grandma babysat most of the days while I got to work with grandpa. Thankfully Rob was super patient with me. I tend to over apologize when I am learning things. It's kind of a nervous tick of mine.
He taught both Chris and I a ton and also did most of the work. We are
forever grateful!! Here is a little preview of what we got done while they were here...

Our Awesome Visitors
Before I show you all our projects we've been doing we had some awesome visitors last month. We were incredibly lucky to have Chris' brother and girlfriend come for Easter. We had lots of lazy quality time with them. It was really great. Even though we rarely see any of our families Bram recognized them right away...which makes me ever so happy. Sadly I barely got any pictures.
We were blessed again later in the month when Grandma Jo and Grandpa Rob stopped in for a long weekend. It was pretty awesome. Bram is definitely blessed to have the goofy duo as grandparents. They will surely be loads and loads of fun as Bram gets older. Neither of them take themselves too seriously which is an awesome quality. Chris and I love watching them interact with our son and how excited he gets to see them.
Love, love, love our families!!!!!

A Busy 18 Month Old
I am so sorry for my absence. February and March were horrible sick months which left me being very mopey and lazy. April was busy busy busy with house project and great visitors. Bram is officially 18 months old now and crazy as ever.
Bram is saying and understanding more and more. He's still infatuated with football but now seems to enjoy a few other things....especially walks (anything outside really), reading books, coloring, playing guitar (with daddy), puzzles, helping mom vacuum, and driving his toy cars. He discovered planes last month while being outside. He gets so excited whenever he hears one, even if he can't see it. He loves to explore outside; instead of running around he's usually exploring and looking for bugs. It's pretty cute but kind of gross since I hate creepy crawly things.
I have so much more to catch you up on...can't wait to show you what we've all been up too.
